About

La Bastide Saint Dominique is a distinguished family estate nestled in the Southern Rhône Valley, renowned for over 40 years of producing elegant and subtly balanced wines. Founded by Marie-Claude and Gérard Bonnet around a former 16th-century chapel, the estate began with a handful of hectares and has grown to encompass 50 hectares under the passionate stewardship of the Bonnet family.

Located between Avignon and Orange, the estate enjoys the quintessential Mediterranean climate, characterized by warm, dry conditions and the distinctive Mistral wind. These elements, combined with the unique terroir, imbue the wines with a robust, sun-kissed warmth while maintaining finesse and elegance.

La Bastide Saint Dominique produces a range of Appellations d’Origine Protégée (AOP) wines, including Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Rhône Villages, Cairanne, Rasteau, and the prestigious Châteauneuf-du-Pape, as well as Indication Géographique Protégée (IGP) Méditerranée. Since 1999, their son Eric Bonnet has infused innovation into the estate’s production and marketing processes, ensuring a blend of tradition and modernity.

Committed to sustainable practices, La Bastide Saint Dominique registered for the French AB (Agriculture Biologique) Organic farming certification in 2011. Starting with the 2014 vintage, all their wines proudly bear this certification, reflecting their dedication to environmental stewardship and high-quality wine production.
