The SANParks Honorary Rangers, in association with Mount Vernon Wines, launched a blended red, white and rose range.

R15 from every bottle sold goes directly to the SANParks Honorary Rangers to be used in the fight against poaching. So far, the initiative have raised over R 1 000 000.

“Every bottle purchased really makes a difference. The cost of the anti-poaching war is expensive and the men and women involved need all they can get against a ruthless enemy.” – John Hooper, Mount Vernon MD.

The funds raised are used to purchase equipment and train rangers on the frontline. The money is spent on basic bush gear for the rangers protecting the Kruger National Park. Funds also go towards special projects such as the Kruger National Park canine training facility, where dogs are trained to track and hunt down poachers.
