MontGras

About

Established in 1993 by brothers Hernán and Eduardo Gras, MontGras has become synonymous with innovation and modernity in the Chilean wine industry. The winery is renowned for its dynamic approach to winemaking, seamlessly blending state-of-the-art technology with traditional craftsmanship to produce wines that are both bold and expressive.

MontGras’s commitment to sustainability is evident through its comprehensive practices. Since 2011, the winery has been certified under the Sustainable Code of Viñas de Chile, a voluntary initiative aimed at incorporating sustainable practices within wine companies. In 2021, MontGras furthered its dedication by certifying 100% of its portfolio as vegan and introducing a new range of organic wines. These efforts encompass responsible vineyard management, efficient resource utilization, and a steadfast commitment to environmental stewardship.

The winery’s access to diverse vineyards across Chile’s prime wine regions enables the creation of distinctive wines tailored to specific terroirs. For instance, vineyards in cooler climates, such as Leyda, allow MontGras to produce naturally low-alcohol wines that retain vibrant acidity and fresh flavour profiles. Additionally, MontGras is celebrated for its modern, bold wine blends, focusing on specific grape varieties and meticulous batch selection to craft artisanal wines that reflect both innovation and quality.

MontGras’s unwavering focus on innovation, sustainability, and quality has solidified its position as a leading force in the global wine industry, continually pushing the boundaries of Chilean winemaking.
