Tasting with Louise Hopler

Hoepler is an Austrian, family-owned winery located southeast of Vienna in Burgenland. The vineyards lie in the Leithaberg Hills on the shores of the Lake Neusiedl.

Hoepler wines have a clear signature. They tend to be delicate, elegant and high in minerality. They are excellent to drink on their own but versatile when it comes to food and wine pairing.

Gruner Veltliner is a light yellow-green wine, with aromas of pear, tangerine and lime. Excellent as an aperitif or served with fresh salads, sushi or pasta.

Blaufrankish is a dark ruby red with aromas of red berries, tobacco and ripe cherries. Dark fruited, juicy on the palate with a velvety texture and pleasant echos of oak. It pairs perfectly with many types of food.
