We have purchased these wines, en primeur, since their first inception in the early 90’s. They have only improved with time and are now some of the greatest wines made in France, if not the world.
Our aim at this event was to taste current and past vintages, with a selection of these greats
In the glass, the 2012 de L’oree Ermitage blanc was honey and gold, whilst the 2012 and 2014 Pavillon Ermitage, proved the value of this wine – consistently the best red wine of the release year in year out.
The stars of the show – the two least costly wines being St Joseph les Granits blanc and Crozes Hermitages Veronniers. Pure delight
I cannot remember a better tasting ( and the new tasting room is without doubt the most ideal location for such an event).”
