We’re in the Top 50 Drink Wholesalers!
We are happy to announce that we made it to the Harpers’ Top 50 Drink Wholesalers 2022! The list was published earlier this month, for the first time since 2019 after the break due to the pandemic. Harpers Wine & Spirit is a leading trade information service and their top 50 was compiled based on a survey of the on-trade readership and judging panels’ views on each company’s individual merits, drawing on information in entry packs, as well as a wealth of industry knowledge possessed by each judge.
Here is what Harpers had to say about our entry:
“EWGA Wines celebrated its 50th anniversary this year, but the company has no desire to stand still. In addition to supplying on-trade venues in the North West and South West of England, EWGA continues to source directly from producers for its exclusive wine ranges bottled in the UK. The judges were mightily impressed with the Spanish selection, including super-premium wineries from Rioja and Ribera del Duero.”
The judges put us at the 39th spot ahead of some really big companies and considering that there are over 900 drinks wholesalers in the UK, we are happy to make the list. The goal for the upcoming years is to climb the list and continue to improve our wine selection, our customer service and strive to be your ultimate wine supplier.
