We’re very excited to share some exciting news with our customers and partners – EWGA Wines has become the exclusive distributor for Champagne Vollereaux in the UK! Starting this September 2024, we’ll be bringing this exceptional Champagne to the UK market.

How This Partnership Came About

This partnership represents a fantastic opportunity for both Champagne Vollereaux and EWGA Wines. When we started talking with the Vollereaux family, it was clear that we share the same passion for quality, tradition, and authenticity. We think this will be a great match and we’re really excited to be working alongside them to introduce their wines to our customers and the UK market.

Introducing Champagne Vollereaux

For those unfamiliar with Champagne Vollereaux, their story is deeply rooted in family tradition, dating back to 1805 when the Vollereaux family began cultivating grapes over two centuries ago. In 1923, Victor Vollereaux decided to take the leap and bottle his own Champagne. What started as a small operation has since grown into a celebrated Champagne house led by the sixth generation of the family, with Franck Vollereaux at the helm as the winemaker.

What sets Champagne Vollereaux apart is their philosophy – they believe Champagne isn’t just for special occasions; it’s a wine that can be enjoyed throughout a meal, creating the occasion rather than waiting for one. The Vollereaux Range – Now Available at EWGA Wines

We’re proud to announce that we’ll be bringing a carefully selected range of Vollereaux Champagnes to the UK, each with its own unique story and style. Here’s a sneak peek at what you can expect:

• Vollereaux Brut Réserve
  A well-rounded Champagne that’s ideal for all occasions. This beautifully balanced blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier has refreshing bubbles, a smooth palate and good complexity. This is truly a crowd-pleaser. Available in half bottles and magnum bottles.

• Vollereaux Demi-Sec
  With a touch of sweetness, this Champagne is the ultimate dessert pairing. Its rich, indulgent profile makes it the ideal companion for fruit sorbets or cheeses, and we can’t wait to see it grace tables for celebrations large and small.

• Vollereaux Blanc de Blancs
  Crafted from 100% Chardonnay, this lively, refreshing Champagne is the perfect match for seafood or lighter fare like goat cheese. It’s crisp and elegant, making it a versatile choice for both casual and fine dining.

• Vollereaux Blanc de Noirs Brut Nature
  A bold expression made from 100% Pinot Noir, this Champagne is for those who love a drier style. With no added sugar, the natural ripeness of the grapes shines through, delivering a Champagne that’s great with cured meats and rich cheese

• Vollereaux Rosé de Saignée
  This stunning rosé, made using the traditional Saignée method, boasts a deep ruby hue and vibrant raspberry flavours. It’s perfect for anyone looking for a rosé that’s full of character and works beautifully with a variety of dishes

• Vollereaux Blanc de Blancs Vintage 2014
  For those who love vintage Champagne, this Blanc de Blancs from 2014 is a must-try. Aged for seven years, it offers refined citrus and dried fruit notes, with a luxurious texture that pairs beautifully with delicate seafood dishes

• Vollereaux Premier Cru Célébration

  This Champagne comes from Premier Cru vineyards and offers a beautiful balance of finesse and freshness. Its lower dosage gives it a crisp, clean finish, making it perfect with classic fish dishes like sole or trout
